GMAC Insurance signs exclusive deal with Luxury Motors

Luxury Motors, one of the largest retailers of new and pre-owned luxury vehicles, has agreed to exclusively sell GMAC Insurance Repair Advantage, GAP and Tire and Wheel products, as well as use Dealer Products and Services’ (DP&S) leading training and technology solutions.
Luxury Motors' strategy is unique in that it generates a significant volume of online sales with its proprietary selling system. Customers never have to leave the comfort of their home or office while connecting live with a sales specialist on-line who provides a virtual walk around of the car, financing options, insurance products and delivery arrangements to anywhere in the world.
The niche retailer sells approximately 1,400 to 1,500 new and used luxury and exotic vehicles from variety automobile manufacturers monthly through its online operations and nine brick-and-mortar retail stores. Luxury Motors also sells some 400 vehicle service contracts a month, and the group anticipates it will continue to grow as they open new distribution centers, including one in Houston at the end of August, to go with existing facilities in Chicago, Las Vegas and San Francisco.
This insurance business opportunity evolved with the help of GMAC's North American Operations (NAO), which introduced the GMAC Insurance National Accounts team to Luxury Motors, after agreeing to provide Luxury Motor's with wholesale financing. The Insurance team moved quickly to develop a customized vehicle service contract solution which will be effective on Aug. 1, to meet the unique needs of the luxury dealer's market.
